Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

This place really is a hidden gem in Lake Park. It's located in a relatively low traffic strip mall so it isn't hard to miss, but this is one not to pass up. I've been here a few times but this is my first time reviewing. I like to try restaurants more than once before forming a solid opinion on the place (trying to be fair). THE FOOD is really good. They serve traditional thin crust pizza that is flavorful with the right amount of crisp. I am usually a bit wary when trying non pizza dishes at restaurants like this, but I also ate the chicken parmigiana sub and it was cheesy goodness! The sauce and the breaded chicken was almost engulfed in mozzarella (which I love!). THE PRICE is more than reasonable, especially for lunch. You can get two slices and a soda for $5.25-$6.50 depending on toppings. My favorite combo is the half sub/cheese slice/salad or soup for $6.99. THE SERVICE is good as well. Not overly friendly but you can tell they appreciate your patronage. The restaurant itself is also clean. I recommend if you're in the area to try this place. It's much better than other local restaurants with similar menus.

Excellent food and fantastic service. After a long night at a family wedding, my son wanted pizza by the slice and he stumbled on this through yelp. Walked in post-lunch hour and ordered at the counter. They were filling a really big order, but still made us feel like we were their priority. We both ordered the two slices and drink and sat down. The dining room was really clean and neat and our ever present server was fantastic. We started with garlic knots which my son devoured, which were really tasty and while they had never had anyone ask, they gave my son more "knot sauce" with a smile. The pizza slices were perfectly prepared, served hot and very delicious. So why only four stars? In two words, drink refills. The slices only come with bottled water or a soft drink and for me, I like refills (hint, drink station). But don't let that deter you, there is some mighty good pizza you need to try.

Went in on a monday, early evening on our way home from the beach/park. Tired, hot and hungry we were going to each get a slice and be on our way. We saw that they had a special- order a whole pizza for 9.25. Thought we'd do the special, have one slice then take the rest home. They informed us that the deal was take out only. We had a salad while we waited, the pizza guy wanted to make sure we were not staying. He confirmed with the waitress to make sure we were told we had to take the pizza with us and leave. We didn't think they would mind if we had one slice there and took the rest with us but I guessed from the ugly looks we got that they indeed minded very much. Feeling very unwelcome, we took our pizza and the two sodas and sat outside in the heat, leaving the dining room empty. Food was good but I will not be treated that way again.

When someone 'scores' off you, you shake your head....wtf, right? I can't believe I'm giving Palermo's a bad review but I have to. When I lived in CT, I was in the pizza biz for 12 years and had some other chef gigs along the way too. I worked for an independent investment group as an assistant GM of a main restaurant location and acted as a corporate trainer for a few months at a time when a new location opened up. Italian style, family friendly, the stores had 40-60 seat dining, Gas fired Brick oven pizza, New Haven style; Wood fired Brick oven Italian style Apizza. I'll just say the following: I still make pizzas for family and friends out of my electric oven in my kitchen here in the condo. I make the dough in a mixer on my counter top the same way I was taught years before by masters-of-their-craft. I use primo ingredients, grow my own fresh herbs, know all the recipes by heart....tried and true. So I don't have to order pizza togo. Ever. When I moved to the area I tried a bunch of places because that's what I do. Lo, behold ....Palermo's! I was so pleased with the product that every once in awhile I'd call Christian up and order a pizza. Not because I need to, again...I'm making fantastic stuff at home. I did it out of respect. He was a nice person and had a good product. He deserved the patronage. So, out of respect I was a 'regular customer' and I've always been happy except for once or twice over the past 2 years. I don't know if he's at the other store now, maybe he sold the place I don't know but last week I had one of the worst pizzas I've ever had the misfortune of purchasing. When I got home and opened the box, I couldn't believe how bad it was. I questioned how anyone with any pride in what they do for a living could take someone's hard earned money for what was allowed to leave that kitchen. Disgraceful to the industry. I can no longer trust Palermo's with my pizza orders. What a shame if this place has gone downhill because it used to be great.

Got take out pizza tonight with garlic knots and both were delicious. They did a nice job inside - i was never there when it was the Pit Grille - but there weren't many fine in customers. Hopefully word will continue to spread. I'll be back to relax with some wine and this time an eat-in pizza and salad.

The garlic knots are heaven! Clean, friendly, and good food. Excellent value. I had the Tour of Italy and it was more than I could eat. Bene!

I have eaten here four or five times and it is delicious! I've had the pizza and it's amazing, but the subs are my absolute favorite! The staff is courteous and every time I am there, it is an enjoyable experience.

This place was very good. It had very good food, lots of beverage options, and a courteous staff. The wait from being sat down to getting the food was longer than average, but it was fair since they were understaffed this day. I had a personal pizza/10" pizza. It was an above average pizza and had a very good taste to it. One of my friends had a chicken Francese and enjoyed it. My other friend had a salad and enjoyed it but not as much as the chicken my other friend had. 4 stars for the wait time

The up place is brand new it is very clean and meet looking. I try the pizza it was the 2 slices in a drink for 750 so not as the cheapest carmines but the pizza was very good in fresh the dough was really good. They had a great selection of a tall you in this is on their menu the kitchen looks very clean any macula and you could see the kitchen which is nice. Will definitely be going back in trying more sense so close to the house. I wish them a successful business venture and I hope they make it in do well in that location and will be back for more food later.

Amazing thin crust pizza!! One of the best unknown pizza places that will have you coming back for more.

This place is under new ownership. The previous owner was great, served good food at fair prices. I stopped by recently while on vacation and turned around and walked right out as I didn't feel that it was a safe place to have a family dinner due to the clientele in the restaurant. I'll leave it at that...

It's a pizza parlor nothing great nothing horrible. As far as pizza it was typical and exactly as I expected. I will definitely go back but not looking forward to the service...slow and confused.

Food was decent; what you would expect from an Italian restaurant in a strip mall. Just don't like when restaurant owners try to get one past you on the check. I've been there 4 times in the last 2 months and twice I've noticed additions onto the bill that weren't expected: 1. The charged me twice what the menu said to add chicken to a salad, and 2. They charged me 130% more than a side of pasta costs to add meat sauce to a side of pasta. Both times these charges weren't verbalized to me. Just gave me the feeling that they were dishonest and don't give a crap about their customers. Probably won't be back.

Worst pizza ever services was horrible and the pizza was ice cold. This place doesn't deserve 1 star.

Wonderful Sicilian pizza!! Will definitely order again. Signage is poor but just find the FedEx office on Hwy 1 and Palermo Brick Oven Pizza is on other end of that strip center.

This place is just what juno needed real fresh and real great food that delivers GREAT job Guys best of luck to you
